Online Classes for Life (not just for COVID!)
During 2020 we introduced online classes as a result of the impact of COVID-19. Due to the popularity of our online classes and the response from our new virtual ‘regulars’ online classes are now a permanent part of our timetable. Wherever we are moving or dancing, you can join us from wherever you are in the world! Can’t join us live? Don’t worry! You can book a class and receive access to the recording afterwards!
Our classes are designed for absolute beginners and for those who have never really felt that sport or exercise is designed for them.
We help you find the ‘fun’ in functional fitness!

Mondays 7pm (UK time)
Online or Face to Face (Hythe Community Centre)
A great way to start the week! An upbeat, low to medium impact dance inspired workout that’s easy to follow with no floor work. You can fully participate in this class without jumping (so you can always have at least one foot firmly on the floor!). This class sometimes includes seated (chair) stretches . You can join us face to face in Colchester, Essex or online via Zoom from anywhere in the world! Or book a place and wait to access the recording on-demand between live classes.

A fun and friendly small group training sessions using hand weights, resistance bands and other small pieces of equipment. We work on functional fitness including strength, balance, coordination and flexibility as well as well as cardiovascular fitness. Same rules apply - you do as much or as little as you want - but with the opportunity to push yourself to work harder if you want to.

This is a chair-based session that includes a dance element and sometimes also includes some functional fitness moves using hand weights (or cans of food) to give you the benefits of moving your body whilst seated. This is a great place to start for those who feel that a full (standing) class would not work for them. This also makes a great desk break if you are working from home. :)

One to one sessions (or two or three friends can book a session together!) can be tailored to your specific needs, whether it’s working on strengthening a particular area (e.g. knees or ankles) or building up confidence with your dance moves, we can help. This is not your typical personal training session - and you are ALWAYS in charge of how and when to move your body. It’s all on your terms. It’s a great opportunity to really focus on your motivations, barriers and goals in a dedicated session just for you. You can book just one session or book a series - either weekly, fortnightly, monthly or less frequently if you prefer.

Our Friday lunchtime session combine dance and a small functional fitness session for our online community. It’s a great way to move with joy and with purpose all in one session!
